The Levi's fit guide was installed in the flagship Regent Street store on its opening in 1995.
One of the first full-motion interactive video touchscreen kiosks, the fit guide was a uniquely Levi's experience that helped visitors to the store find their perfect cut, size and colour of Levi's from some 2000 possible permutations.
Levi's is one of the world's most recognisable and pervasive brands, but the number-only approach to identifying their styles posed problems.
Everybody knows what a pair of 501s looks like. The challenge was to decode the rest of the styles so we could show 901s and 517s and illustrate the differences in ways people could quickly understand.
